Turkey’s Kizilelma Fighter Drone Fires Guided Bombs From Internal Bay for First Time

Baykar’s Kizilelma unmanned combat aircraft has completed its first live-fire tests using its internal weapons bay, successfully releasing precision-guided munitions against ground targets in Çorlu.

The trial, conducted with the serial-production S2 model, saw the aircraft deploy a Roketsan Teber-82 guided bomb and an Aselsan Tolun glide bomb from inside the fuselage.

According to the Turkish firm, the internal weapons bay is designed to preserve the aircraft’s low radar signature, speed, and aerodynamic efficiency while carrying munitions, supporting operations in heavily defended airspace.
