ParaZero Technologies has received a follow-on order for its DefendAir Pods for use in an autonomous counter-drone system protecting critical infrastructure and high-value assets.
The company did not identify the customer or disclose the value of the contract.
DefendAir uses a non-explosive, net-based interception method to physically capture hostile drones, offering an alternative to electronic jamming or kinetic interceptors.
The modular Pod architecture can be integrated into fixed, mobile, and unmanned defense platforms, allowing operators to neutralize drone threats while minimizing the risk of collateral damage.
ParaZero said demand for physical drone interception systems has increased as low-cost unmanned aircraft become more capable of carrying out surveillance, disrupting operations, and attacking strategic facilities.
“Protecting critical infrastructure and high-value assets requires more than detection or disruption alone,” CEO Ariel Alon said. “Operators need a dependable physical interception layer capable of responding autonomously and stopping a hostile drone before it reaches the protected asset.”
DefendAir Expands Operational Footprint
ParaZero Technologies has continued expanding the market presence of its non-kinetic counter-drone systems in 2026.
In June, the Israeli company secured its first order from a major US defense contractor for its DefendAir Net Pods, marking its entry into the US defense market.
This followed another defense contract in April for the systems, including personal net launchers, deployable net pods, and training packages, after the customer completed an initial evaluation.
Earlier, in February, ParaZero received a second procurement request from a major global defense contractor for operational drone interception net pods.
