New Integrated Powertrain Gives UAVs More Room for Payloads

Light- to medium-class unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) could soon gain a more compact propulsion option with US firm ePropelled introducing its new SKYLARK Series.

The integrated propulsion system combines the electric motor and controller into a single unit, reducing weight while freeing up space for larger payloads.

It also incorporates ePConnect, the company’s centralized propulsion management platform, to support integration across its motors, controllers, and intelligent power systems.
