German company Click & Power GmbH is bringing a new approach to battlefield energy with the AKKU Trailer, a transportable battery-powered platform designed to deliver power wherever frontline forces need it.
Weighing 3.5 tons (7,716 pounds), the system uses a 400-volt architecture capable of delivering up to 88 kilowatts of alternating current and 230 kilowatts of direct current power.
According to Alexander Schwan, managing director of Click & Power GmbH, the AKKU Trailer is compact, low-profile, easy to camouflage, and can be deployed without additional handling equipment.
