Hunt Military Communities Launches Mobile Maintenance App for Military Housing
Hunt Military Communities (HMC) has introduced a mobile application intended to streamline maintenance operations across its US military housing programs.
Called MAJOR, the platform gives maintenance technicians mobile access to repair requests, work order histories, and task management tools, allowing them to update job status and prioritize assignments directly from the field.
With HMC teams completing more than 400,000 work orders annually, the application is designed to streamline maintenance operations by replacing office-based updates with real-time mobile access to work orders and task information.
HMC said the application was developed over approximately 18 months and refined through dozens of testing cycles involving maintenance personnel to adapt the platform to day-to-day operational requirements.
Initially, the application will be piloted at five military housing communities, with a wider rollout across HMC’s portfolio planned later this year following an evaluation of the program.
Housing Investment
HMC is one of the largest providers of privatized housing for US military personnel and their families, managing nearly 60,000 homes across installations of the US Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Space Force.
Earlier this year, the company announced a $3.65-million infrastructure improvement project at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia.
The work focuses on upgrading utilities and other critical infrastructure in the Turner Park and Crestview neighborhoods as part of ongoing maintenance and modernization efforts across its housing portfolio.
