Lite Coms has secured a $22-million contract to supply advanced tactical satellite communications (SATCOM) capabilities for a US customer, supporting mission-critical operations in austere domains.
The order is expected to reinforce user readiness by delivering a robust communications suite to sustain intelligence relay across demanding missions.
Based in New York, Lite Coms engineers and integrates tactical network equipment for defense organizations and other federal customers.
Among its portfolio are field terminals, mobile communications gear, and integrated connectivity solutions built for rugged operations.
The firm noted that its latest deal solidifies its position as a key tactical solutions provider, driven by a growing need for resilient SATCOM capabilities in modern warfare.

Support for US Marines
The contract comes under an ongoing Pentagon agreement to supply wideband SATCOM systems to the US Marine Corps.
Valued at $500 million, the framework covers technical, logistics, and training support, along with fielding, engineering, maintenance, and technological overhauls for the force’s existing Wideband Satellite Communication-Light and Heavy systems.
Associated activities are being conducted at Lite Coms’ center in Victor, New York, with scheduled completion by September 2028.
