HENSOLDT Develops Portable Jammer to Challenge Modern Navigation Signals
German firm HENSOLDT is pushing deeper into electronic warfare with a new mobile jammer designed to disrupt “all common global satellite navigation systems.”
The system, named SkyBarrier, is intended to support military forces and government users in protecting critical infrastructure from navigation-dependent threats.
According to the company, it can challenge signals across major satellite navigation constellations, including the US GPS, Russia’s GLONASS, Europe’s Galileo, and China’s BeiDou.
