The US Army is giving artificial intelligence a larger role in how it moves, tracks, and sustains combat power.

A new five-year, $99-million contract vehicle for Rune Technologies’ TyrOS platform will help units rapidly adapt AAI-driven logistics and decision-support tools without navigating separate procurement processes for each deployment.

“Logistics is the distribution layer of military power, and it has to move at the speed of the fight,” said Rune chief executive and co-founder David Tuttle.
