Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence revealed that more than 400 combat units have ordered over 500,000 drones and other battlefield systems through the Brave1 Market platform using the country’s ePoints incentive framework.
Brave1 has processed more than 33 billion Ukrainian hryvnias ($737.1 million) in equipment orders in under a year, making it one of the country’s main channels for rapidly fielding indigenous defense technologies.
Launched in August last year, the program allows military personnel to earn digital points for completing combat missions, which can be redeemed for equipment such as first-person-view drones, unmanned ground vehicles, electronic warfare systems, and other locally-made weapons.
