The British Army’s 100th Boxer infantry vehicle, made entirely in the UK, has completed production and been delivered to the UK Ministry of Defence.
It follows nearly a year after the army accepted its first out of 623 Boxer vehicles in August 2025, part of a 5-billion-pound ($6.1-billion) investment covering Boxer vehicles and 148 Challenger 3 tanks, scheduled for operational use by 2030.
The Boxer program is carried out in collaboration with OCCAR, ARTEC, and the National Armaments Director Group, with manufacturing led by the Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land joint venture in Telford and KNDS UK in Stockport.

The reconfigurable 8×8 Boxer platform will join the British Army’s Strike Brigades to support the rapid transport of troops and mission systems to an all-terrain battlefield.
Measuring around 8 meters (26 feet) long, 2 meters (8 feet) tall, and 3 meters (10 feet) wide, the Boxer can accommodate an 11-person crew.
It travels at a top speed of 103 kilometers (64 miles) per hour and has a range of 1,050 kilometers (652 miles).
