Thales and Defense Conseil International (DCI) have formed a partnership to embed advanced digital command tools directly in France’s military training and operational preparation programs.
The agreement ties Thales’ HexaForce multi-domain command solution to DCI’s Operational Command Academy, a capability platform launched in June 2025 to support training, exercises, and experimentation for French and allied forces.
HexaForce, developed by Thales, is built for command posts operating across land, air, sea, cyber, and space domains.
It is intended to support decision-making in complex environments where forces must coordinate across multiple networks and rapidly shifting operational conditions.
Thales’ Training Footprint
Thales has steadily expanded its training modernization portfolio in recent years.
Earlier this month, the company launched Gladiator Training Data Analytics, an AI-powered platform that consolidates data from soldiers, vehicles, drones, and other training systems into a unified operational view to improve live exercise analysis and post-training evaluation.
In February, Thales partnered with Universitas Pertahanan RI in Indonesia to strengthen cybersecurity education and training, focusing on cyber threat intelligence, detection, and investigation capabilities.
Earlier, in December 2025, the company introduced a drone training capability integrated into live exercises to expose soldiers to both friendly and hostile drone behavior, improving readiness and situational awareness.
