Palantir’s Cloud Platform to Support US Army Command and Control Program
Palantir’s Foundry platform will form part of the baseline architecture of the US Army’s Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) program.
Foundry will serve as the cloud platform, while Anduril’s Lattice software will provide the tactical data layer.
NGC2 is the US Army’s flagship command-and-control modernization effort, aimed at improving how operational information is collected, integrated, and shared across military formations.
The program seeks to create a unified digital environment connecting sensors, command posts, weapon systems, and decision-makers.
It is expected to incorporate commercial software, government-developed capabilities, and applications built by soldiers.
Palantir has supported NGC2 since the program’s early experimentation and prototyping phases.
The company said the architecture will provide a foundation for future software applications and AI-enabled capabilities as the program expands across the US military.
