Empower AI to Extend Enterprise IT Support for Pentagon

The Pentagon has awarded Empower AI a contract to continue delivering enterprise-level information technology services for the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) J6 Service Delivery program.

J6 Service Delivery is responsible for maintaining interoperability between global users, with coverage incorporating dedicated onsite and remote assistance for executive, cabinet, and other VIP networks and devices.

That tasks under the framework cover autonomy applications, quality management, and compliant processes, enhancing tasks while preventing disruption throughout associated efforts, fast-track resolution timelines, and minimizing operational overhead.

Work will run up to five years and have a value of $255.4 million if all options are exercised.

The Virginia-based company first won the J6 contract in September 2019 with a $269.9-million price tag.

“Our teams have developed deep institutional knowledge of the DISA J6 environment, and we understand that consistent performance is just the baseline,” said Carla Harter, SVP of operations at Empower AI. “The mission demands that we keep getting better.”

“We will use that foundation to introduce intelligent automation in areas where it reduces burden and improves response times, giving DISA J6 measurable performance gains within the current operational framework.”
