Lithuanian Firm Raises $2.2M to Expand Drone Precision Guidance Systems
Lithuanian firm PDKINEMATICS has secured 2 million euros ($2.2 million) in funding to scale production and deployment of its drone precision guidance systems for European and Ukrainian operators.
The round was co-led by Lithuanian state-backed investor Coinvest Capital and venture firm Iron Wolf Capital.
PDKINEMATICS develops guidance technologies designed for munitions carried by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The company’s flagship product, Gannet, is a compact precision guidance kit for bomber-class drones.
It is designed to improve strike accuracy from release altitudes of up to 700 meters (2,297 feet).
The system is resistant to electronic warfare interference, can be integrated with different UAV platforms, and is designed to operate in adverse weather conditions.
In addition, PDKINEMATICS is developing other UAV subsystems, including proximity fuzes intended for loitering munitions and interceptor drones, as well as components designed to improve performance in contested electromagnetic environments.
“We started working on precision guidance for UAVs because the battlefield was demanding something that did not exist: precision at altitude, at the cost and form factor of a mass-produced drone munition,” stated Rapolas Markevičius, CEO and Co-Founder of PDKINEMATICS.
“The most capable guidance science in history was developed for large aircraft and expensive programs that only superpowers could afford.”

Ukraine Deployments and Partnerships
PDKINEMATICS’ guidance systems are already being integrated into operational UAV platforms in Ukraine through a partnership with Ukrainian drone manufacturer Bavovna.ai.
The company also partnered with Italian UAV manufacturer SiraLab as part of its expansion into European markets.
In addition, PDKINEMATICS said its technology has been selected for Iron Wolf 2026, Lithuania’s largest international military exercise, where it will be evaluated in a NATO operational environment.
Beyond land-based applications, the Lithuanian firm is preparing the first naval deployment of its Gannet precision guidance system with a NATO member state’s navy.
