CACI International has secured a contract worth up to $113 million to upgrade key enterprise applications used by the US Navy’s Military Sealift Command (MSC).
MSC serves as the force’s dedicated logistics provider at sea, deploying about 140 civilian-crewed vessels to replenish warships, transport warfighters and tactical equipment, and provide hospital-level medical care.
Under the deal, the Virginia-based company will deliver software development, engineering and program management, and cloud and cybersecurity solutions for business applications assisting ashore and afloat MSC teams.
Throughout the initiative, CACI will leverage artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and automation.
The firm is set to facilitate associated works for five years.
CACI highlighted that the award will streamline MSC’s operations through data-driven support, cutting interruptions and boosting overall fleet capability.
