Kraus Hamdani Aerospace has delivered its K1000ULE long-endurance unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to the Panamanian Public Forces under a “multi-million-dollar” US foreign military sale contract.
The systems are expected to bolster Panama’s intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities for drug interdiction and other transnational security missions.
To support the rollout, the California-based company launched a training program to certify personnel with no previous experience as UAS controllers, helping the Central American country establish its first dedicated drone squadron.
