Artificial intelligence is enhancing military augmented reality (AR) by enabling wearable systems to prioritize battlefield information based on where a soldier is looking.
US firm Syntec Optics has received new orders for specialized optical windows that support advanced eye-tracking and illumination in next-generation military AR wearables, expanding its work on ballistic-grade display windows for defense systems.
“As the market focuses on high-level Artificial Intelligence deployment, Syntec remains focused on the foundational ‘pick and shovel’ infrastructure required to execute these capabilities,” Syntec chief financial officer Dean Rudy said.
