US-based Moog and Poland’s PONAR Wadowice have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop aerospace and defense technologies for Poland and other European customers.
The agreement establishes a framework for future cooperation on hydraulic and electro-hydrostatic actuation systems.
According to the companies, the partnership will focus on technologies that support the requirements of the Polish Ministry of National Defence, including aviation test equipment and related hardware intended to improve the readiness of European armed forces.
Moog said the collaboration combines its expertise in precision motion control systems with PONAR Wadowice’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities in hydraulic power systems.
The firms will also carry out joint planning, feasibility studies, site assessments, and stakeholder engagement to define future industrial projects and manufacturing arrangements.
Poland Expands Defense Partnerships
The Moog agreement is the latest in a series of international defense collaborations involving Poland as it strengthens its domestic defense industry.
In June, PZL Defence and Ukraine’s JSC Ivchenko-Progress agreed to jointly develop, produce, and market small turbojet engines for military and civilian aviation.
In the same month, Thales and Poland’s Mesko signed an agreement to expand domestic production of 70mm rocket systems, including motor assembly and critical component manufacturing.
Earlier, in March, Poland’s PGZ and WB Group signed cooperation agreements with Saab to develop in-country submarine maintenance, repair, and overhaul capabilities under the Orka submarine program.
