The Finnish Border Guard has selected telecommunications company Nokia to provide a secure network for a nationwide counter-drone system that will equip patrol vehicles and boats with advanced detection and response capabilities.
Under the effort, Nokia’s defense unit will deliver an intelligent network designed to enable protected, high-speed connectivity, real-time data sharing, and interoperability between sensors, platforms, and command-and-control systems.
The capability will support border surveillance and other missions aimed at safeguarding territorial integrity and critical infrastructure.
